Shirley made an impression on both of us with her friendliness, likeable personality, her sincerity, openess and her very good attitude.....in the short space of this Shennong River excursion. Her determination and doggedness in pursuing a better life for herself and family led her to concentrate on learning English. That was until her Senior Middle 3 year.
She was only one of two, from her workplace, who could speak passable English.
Both D2 and I will always remember this Shirley of Tujia country.
