In my previous post, I mentioned the great songs of the swinging sixties that touched on the tragedy of young love. There were many great singers and songwriters who came out with songs that, on listening, brought tears to many of their listeners.
One such song is this ever popular 1960 hit " Tell Laura I Love Her ". There were many singers who did the song including Dickey Lee.
But many people, including yours truly, can feel the raw emotion and sense of loss in this eeriely beautiful version by one of the best, the original " Tommy" ....Ray Peterson.
